Group Voice Practices
Explore the transformative experience of voice and sound. How? You can find all about below.
The Practice

Modern life has become increasingly overstimulated: work, tech, the "all for now" social expectations and "noise" in superficial interactions. Population move through constant daily demands often without accepting or experiencing silence, reflection, or stillness - important for the brain activity and emotional regulation.
Ikigai Studio Art facilitates a space and practices using voice, movement and sound techniques that overtime have the potential to reduce stress and promote body and mental awareness.
At Ikigai Studio Art, we believe that when people reconnect with themselves and are comfortable around stillness, they gain the clarity to understand what truly resonates with them.
Eliane designs sessions that have the potential to help participants regulate their nervous system, stimulate the production of neurochemicals and access a relaxed state. In this space of ease and presence, it becomes possible to reconnect with the body, quiet the mind, and develop a deeper awareness of oneself and the surrounding environment.
A central aspect of her approach is active participation: she involves the participant in his/her own process of exploration or reflection. Eliane merges neurology, Japanese concepts and creative techniques in her sessions.
The exercises can be passive (where you are not actively participating) or active (you experience movement and produce voice toning).
Don't worry. It is not a singing session. The most important is that you can be yourself.
Depending on the intention of the session, Eliane may incorporate percussion instruments and collective exercises that encourage connection and group cohesion. These shared experiences often create a sense of belonging, helping participants deepen their connection with themselves and with others.
The Practices
the Session
As part of the practice, a central aspect of Ikigai approach is active participation: you are involved in your own process of exploration and discoveries.
Depending on the intention of the session, percussion instruments may be incorporated, and/ or collective exercises that encourage connection, creativity, and group cohesion. These shared experiences often create a sense of belonging, helping participants deepen their connection with themselves and with others.
The sessions are open to those who are curious to try, as well as to those who wish to make this practice a regular part of their lives. For participants who want to explore the deeper potential of voice therapy in unlocking their personal challenges, a long-term practice may be suggested depending on individual needs. But above all, you are always welcome to choose what feels right for you.
